I received some horrible news. Patrick Muldoon, one of our celebrity guests on Thin Space, has passed away.
I personally knew him for only a week, but it was a production week. There’s a rhythm that happens when you film a project like this. You don’t just work together, you live an abbreviated life with each other — sixteen-hour days, working, eating, laughing, stressing, and barely sleeping.
Patrick was a beautiful part of that slice of life as we filmed the episode on Abaco Island in the Bahamas. Patrick showed up exactly as himself—curious, generous, funny, and completely present in every moment.
I’m deeply grateful for the time we shared, and for the way he stepped into the experience at the last minute with openness and heart. Here is a short clip of Patrick’s first fish with us.
Thinking about his family and everyone who loved him today.
