The best way to come up with a productive pattern is it make sure and wait until the night before the fishing trip, preferably after 10pm. Next, grab some materials that make you say, “oh yeah”. Then, mix them with a bit of panic and desperation. Boom. Perfect fly recipe. It’ll be extra fishy if you only use one or two materials. And if you’re lucky, it’ll work EXACTLY how you expected it to 🤙
It’s fun when experiments work out. I’ve been toying with a micro crawfish pattern for a while now, but I never could get it quite right. A little inspiration from a pattern by @chrisskinner713 helped bring my little Cthulhu Craw to life.
