I used to have a hard time seeing myself in the space, then I realized the point was to expand how it’s seen.
I keep finding myself in the company of people who move with purpose, create with heart, and shift the world just by showing up as they are.
Feeling very fortunate and grateful for the path so far.
ANYWAYS, the full talk with Vic, Maejor, and Dr. Scot is uppppppppp. Plus other amazing keynotes.
Roman Bearden use to say that performance authorizes alternative realities for the audience to get them to unsettle their conventional perceptions of the world.
That’s education.
Great time on the @saucysibz podcast
@timferriss and I discuss why to him, if these substances have had any positive impact on you and you have somewhat of a high net worth, it’s “a beautiful moral imperative” to give at least 1% of that net worth to the non profits like @mapsnews who are doing research in this space (he’s given 10% of his so far).
TLDR
Tim pursuing the philanthropic route in the psychedelic space allowed him to have a deep learning cycle that was impact based rather than profit.
He also wanted his input to be respected while being able to fairly criticize the space if need be. He has no belief that for-profits are “evil” but is also self aware that we are human. He did not want his investments in the for profit world to influence his objective outlook on such an important time in history.
“Want to know someone’s motivations? Know their incentives.”
If you’re looking for someone to give that 1% to, I know an org that’ll take it😉
Thank you @timferriss for the conversation and excited to get the whole one out to the public soon.
Now live on YouTube.

Tim letting me know that to get the truly serious work done, we must channel the silly goose within all of us at times (I’m paraphrasing)
Don’t be so serious all of the time, be sympathetic, and be hyper specific about desired outcomes.
Side note, surely I’m seeing you all at @psychedelicscience ? Only a month(ish) away👀
Just dropped a project with some incredible artists and friends.
I’ve always believed that education within a movement starts by meeting people where they are. Music is a universal language, something that resonates deep within all of us. So it only made sense to use music as a bridge—a way to connect, share resources, and support the community. Also it’s just dope to work with good people.
Music is the Bridge is live now. Check it out—link in my bio!
