Tracee Ellis Ross, photographed earlier this week at the David Geffen Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, wears SEQUENCE.01 as a quiet column of light against a black, sculpted Dior jacket. Composed of rock crystal, matte jasper, banded agate, carnelian, and citrine, the long necklace reads as both ornament and talisman, grounding and luminous, and is designed to resonate at the level of the soul. 📸: Tracee Ellis Ross/ Emma McIntyre/ Stefanie Keenan/ Gilbert Flores/ Monica Schipper/ Ryan Glover

Pools of Light A modern interpretation of Victorian “pools of light” jewelry, where rock crystal was prized for its clarity and luminous depth. Traditionally set in sterling silver, we have chosen 18k yellow gold to warm the composition, with each stone held in hand-forged bezels that honor the original technique while asserting a contemporary sensibility. Alongside the crystal are unakite in shades of moss green and salmon pink, carnelian for warmth, and moqui marbles for their matte, earthen quality. The result is a play of surface and translucency, color and light, jewels that shift with movement and perspective. Handmade in New York.

Cosmic Crystal Wrap, 2026 Don’t Let Disco for @lein_studio A 77-inch constellation of rock crystal, hand-strung on knotted silk, slips through the fingers with the quiet familiarity of a cherished strand. Held and looped like a private litany, it traces LEIN’s diaphanous silhouette in measured intervals of light. Between each stone, reclaimed brass sequins modulate the shimmer, turning every gesture into a soft, reflective ritual around the body. Keeper Collar 02 in service of a small ritual: a rose quartz bangle recast as a disc, traced in sterling, and a totem of a single glass-blown rose with quartz falling like petals down the line. 📸: @euphoricdiana

Strung on black silk, a procession of baroque pearls traces a soft constellation across the body - each shard of luster slightly off-axis, each one insisting on its own orbit.

Four strands in conversation: rice-cut carnelian, labradorite, lapis, rose quartz, and citrine alongside two orb necklaces that alternate crystal with onyx, carnelian with green and rose unakite. Similar forms, shifting frequencies; each composition catching light in its own register. Pieces to layer, separate, and return to over time. Ashley Moubayed has always been surrounded by objects that meant something. Raised in a family of collectors, she learned early on that what we keep is never without intention. Now, through her work with Don’t Let Disco, she continues that lineage in her own way, building pieces that carry history forward while allowing space for new meaning to take shape. In this week’s SIDIA Stories, she reflects on what it means to create something that lasts — not just physically, but emotionally. We talk about her time at Sotheby’s, where objects outlived the people who first loved them, and how that shifted her approach to design. From long walks through New York to the discipline of trusting her eye, Ashley’s work is grounded in attention — the kind that lets meaning unfold slowly, and holds its place over time. Read more through the link in our bio.

Young Miko in our apocalyptic summer relic (necklace): wood, dried coconut, vintage resin discs, and shell, strung from what’s left after we torch the earth – a reminder of what we loved, and what we lost.
