Welcome to my dream Mexico City house 😍🇲🇽 this is the stunning Casa de Reunion, a 1930s Casona thoughtfully restored by my dear friend @stellahdeville . I got to spend a few days here and I’m so lucky I got to experience this stunning house! #cdmx #mexicocity
These are some of my favorite homes to stay at in Mexico 😍🏠
🗿Casa Alferez: brutalist cabin 25 min from CDMX, designed by Ludwig Godefroy. That green convo pit though!!
🏡 Nima: the most charming casona in Colonia Roma. Feels like staying with a very wealthy and stylish relative in the city.
🎨 Casa Lola: essentially a gallery you can stay at, filled with colorful art from local artists.
🛸 Conjunto Satélite: by the legend Javier Senosiain. The round bed and blue conversation pit are beyond.
🌊 Casa Toro in Puerto Escondido: Tropical and brutalist 🖤 Can’t miss.
I’m coming back to Tokyo later this year!! 🗼🇯🇵 These are the spots I can’t wait to come back to. The list includes hotels, coffee, speakeasies and even a pizza rec! Addresses and details below:
🧡 Maison Hermès: 5-4-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku — designed by Renzo Piano. Didn’t make it inside this time, coming back for that.
🏨 Janu Tokyo: 1-2-2 Azabudai, Minato-ku — the rooms, the spa, the biggest indoor pool in the city. Could make a whole video about this place.
🚻 Tokyo Toilet Project: Jingu-Dori Park, Shibuya — public bathrooms designed by world-class architects. My favorite was the one by Tadao Ando.
☕️ Onibus Coffee: 2-14-1 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku — Nakameguro coffee spot that feels like a treehouse with train views.
🎵 Banten: Murata Bldg. 5F, 1-1-4 Ebisuminami, Shibuya-ku — coolest speakeasy I’ve ever seen. Sound and drinks are both stunning. Also A10, 1-12-11 Ebisunishi, Shibuya-ku — another favorite. Tokyo has really mastered the record bar.
💡 Ozeki & Co.: 1-2-6 Nihonbashiningyocho, Chuo-ku — the showroom for Noguchi Akari lamps. A must if you love them like I do.
🍕 Marumo Pizza: 1-11-13 Ebisuminami, Shibuya-ku - best pizza of my life and it happened to be in Japan!
