Just say yes. When a friend asks you if you want to come see a house with them— always, the answer is yes. Yesterday was one of those rare, magic days.
@donborsch & I got a private tour of the first house that #luisbarragán ever built for himself and his family. It was deeply personal, full of art and objects that were collaborations with friends. #claraporset #mathiasgoeritz and others. Wow, so glad I said yes
@juandelbosco1 first brought me to visit #morelia a little over a year ago. He was singing an opera there and I got to view the city through his eyes and be welcomed in by his dear family.
This trip was colored by a sadness that he’s no longer here— also, filled with wonder. Morelia is really special and I was so lucky to have @emilianoza__ as company and guide this time around. Can’t wait to go back
Yesterday, a kind of heaven. One of those days where you taste as though for the first time. A feeling of homecoming, of gratitude and no small sense of wonder.

A little late posting… It’s been a rough couple of weeks but I wanted to share this… Finding the beauty in the midst of grief, joy in the face of loss.
