I have some big personal news to share - Iāve decided transition on from
@runna in order to go travelling!! I absolutely love everything about Runna + Strava ā the team, the product, the mission weāre on, my role, and feel like as a company weāre bound for success, but equally feel like now is the right time for me to go and see the world after a crazy few years!
Building Runna has been the journey of a lifetime - 5 years ago we hadnāt launched our PDF business online. Today weāre a team of >200 people, acquired by the amazing
@strava and helping millions of runners around the world. Thereās simply too many people to tag and thank in a single post, but Iāve loved every single minute and day of the past 5 years - and thatās due to having a team thatās incredibly smart and capable, but also so fun to work (and run) alongside. Thank you to the investors, advisors and partners that I got to work with along the journey. And thank you to all of our Runnas for trusting us with your training.
Excitingly,
@josh_m_oppenheim will be taking over as Managing Director of Runna - Iām honestly so happy for Josh - he lives and breathes Runna and has been a fundamental part of our journey to date as well as the natural successor and Iām excited to see where he takes the business!
And finally, I couldnāt not shout out my amazing Co-Founder
@benparkerfitness - to spend tens of thousands of hours with someone and go on a journey like Runnaās only to remain best friends at the end of it. You inspire me and make me laugh every day. Couldnāt have done it without you.
What a privilege to have been a part of it all ā¤ļø
