I have some big personal news to share - I’ve decided transition on from @runna in order to go travelling!! I absolutely love everything about Runna + Strava – the team, the product, the mission we’re on, my role, and feel like as a company we’re bound for success, but equally feel like now is the right time for me to go and see the world after a crazy few years! Building Runna has been the journey of a lifetime - 5 years ago we hadn’t launched our PDF business online. Today we’re a team of >200 people, acquired by the amazing @strava and helping millions of runners around the world. There’s simply too many people to tag and thank in a single post, but I’ve loved every single minute and day of the past 5 years - and that’s due to having a team that’s incredibly smart and capable, but also so fun to work (and run) alongside. Thank you to the investors, advisors and partners that I got to work with along the journey. And thank you to all of our Runnas for trusting us with your training. Excitingly, @josh_m_oppenheim will be taking over as Managing Director of Runna - I’m honestly so happy for Josh - he lives and breathes Runna and has been a fundamental part of our journey to date as well as the natural successor and I’m excited to see where he takes the business! And finally, I couldn’t not shout out my amazing Co-Founder @benparkerfitness - to spend tens of thousands of hours with someone and go on a journey like Runna’s only to remain best friends at the end of it. You inspire me and make me laugh every day. Couldn’t have done it without you. What a privilege to have been a part of it all ā¤ļø

Absolute dream come true! @richardbranson was the one that first inspired me to start a business and this past week I was lucky enough to be invited to Necker Island along with an incredible group of other founders and entrepreneurs to meet him (and get destroyed at chess). Growing up I read every single one of Richard’s books and despite being 74, it’s amazing to see him every day still pushing himself whether that’s in business, charity or life - even this past week, he took us cliff jumping, scrambling, mountain biking etc and was overtaking us on the climbs too - hands down the most inspiring yet genuine man I’ve ever met. Absolute pinch-me moment. Thank you @noahdevereux for organising the incredible trip and the incredible group to share it with!

Can't believe I made it into the Forbes 30 under 30 for 2024 alongside my co-founder and best friend @benparkerfitness !! When we set off to found @runna_coach 3 years ago we had no idea that the journey would take us to this point and we’re so so grateful for everyone who believed in us and supported us from the start - from our earliest users, investors and team members who quit their jobs and took big pay cuts to join us. Wouldn’t be here today without a lot of hard work and sacrifices from a lot of people (you know who you are!). Growing @runna_coach has been the biggest rollercoaster both Ben and I have ever been on by a factor of 100 - we’ve had the highest highs and the lowest lows (a lot of them) and I know I couldn’t have managed it without @benparkerfitness to pick me up when I’m down and bring me back down when I get overexcited - no idea how the solo founders in the list do it šŸ˜‚ But genuinely massive shoutout to @benparkerfitness the most genuine, smartest and hardest working man there is šŸ”„ Final thanks to all of our Runnas - we get to have the best job IN THE WORLD because so many of you believe in what we’re doing - trying to build the best running training app - and simultaneously we get to help so many people do their first 5ks, marathons and generally improve their lives through running. Long live @runna_coach ā¤ļø @forbes @forbesunder30 #forbes30under30

Well surfing is pretty addictive! You spend an hour paddling and getting rinsed for a few waves but when you’re on one it’s the best feeling ever. Newfound respect for the pros! Nicaragua you were incredible, I’ll be back šŸ„ā€ā™‚ļø

The reset between chapters 😌 I finished up at @runna full of adrenaline after a whirlwind 5 years. Every minute was spent with other people and thinking about a million things. It was incredible, but also exhausting. And I was fully out of any sort of routine or consistency. I booked a one-way flight to St Lucia, with no plans, dopamine, or to-dos. Going 100mph to 0 is a weird feeling and on day one I was literally walking in circles to find anything to do. Took me a while, but eventually I fully slowed down for the first time in a long long time (first proper break since I started working) and reflected on the crazy journey that it’s been! Every day was running, hiking, sauna, swimming, eating well, sleeping and reading. Also did a 4 day digital detox, which despite @holsimps0n ’s best efforts to interrupt me, was genuinely the best thing I did to properly switch off and be in the present. Can’t recommend them enough. Feeling rested and excited for what’s next!!

NEW YORK MARATHON 2025!! What a city, what a crowd - New York (and its bridges) you really delivered. Particularly proud of @theobaker_ who hit his sub-3:30 goal after we spent the first 3 hours enjoying the vibes together. Last year was @runna ’s first ever race pop-up and this year we came back bigger than ever with record setting shakeouts, Runnas training with us, and our incredible team of ambassadors. Very grateful for the incredible @runna team that make weekends like this possible! What a weekend!
