On February 7th, 2026 we will be hosting an event at the one and only Cinema Nova in Brussels. We will be screening a selection of shorts from last year’s edition, followed by a moment of collective reflection on the state of independent cinema in the bar where we will will be serving up piping hot bowls of chilli to raise money for our rapidly approaching second edition. Happy to announce that my film Goodnight Goodnight will be screening at @ridm_festival this year. The film will be available in Quebec only (Nov. 26 - Dec. 2) via the festival's platform. (Link in bio)
My excitement to participate as a selected artist is slightly overshadowed by my experience in questioning how and why a festival of such stature is unable to fairly compensate its filmmakers for their work. For which, I was invited to withdraw. I hope that my continued participation does not signal that I’m content with such a practice.
I’ve invited RIDM to revaluate its values, which do not currently place adequate material value on the labour at the heart of its spectacle and to foster a level of financial transparency to facilitate an open dialogue between the artists and this institution. I would encourage all (un)programmed filmmakers to do the same for any festival.

Yesterday marks the end of a three year project. #slowcinema. Very thankful for Alex and Rosie who managed to tie it all together despite this wild time. The film will be premiering in Switzerland this month as part of @visionsdureel which has been moved online. The film will not be available in @canada
