i made album art for the new @mereoflight album, Heat of Ritual β¦ what a treat to do a project with an artist I feel creatively aligned with + inspired by <3 give Eliseβs music a listen, it is truly magical and transporting!
if youβve talked to me in the past couple months you probably know iβve had to take a break from drawing because of my injury from the car accident . it has been totally gobsmacking to not be able to draw without numbness and pain ... Anthony says itβs a good reminder of how important drawing is to me to live without it for a while . ummm I donβt think i needed the reminder but I see his point . anyway here are some scans from Paradise Rot & an X ray of my cute crooked spine . iβll be drawing like a maniac again soon , I can feel it !!

another sketchbook dump ~ this first drawing is one of my favorites β¦β¦.. last slide is an amalgam of many of the forms of Anthony that live in my sketchbooks ! i love to draw his curly hair β¦ looking at these sketchbooks from the past couple years is such a strange time warp . drawings transform and mutate and ideas thread and tangle so sweetly through time! (they do it all by themselves!) drawing is such a steady undercurrent and iβm so grateful and in love with it . ok, a bit of an unhinged post , goodbye and thank you for looking
