d 120 130
bw 50.6 kg
6/9 (in my head i went 8/9 shhh)
first thank you to @_angelaspence for the peak coaching, for adjusting the program to my needs and helping through every rep. second, thank you to @rygonsann for the meet handling, for making the right calls in the moment, and for the laughs and hype and support. lastly, thank you @swole.cheff for accompanying me through every session leading up to this meet, for cheering me on throughout every fail and pr, and for being there for me for every occasion.
coming into this meet prep transferring into wayne state, starting my new internship and serving tables, i tried my best to balance a new environment and the routine of showing up to the gym. although this meet wasn’t too ideal, i leave knowing i gave it my all with the time that was available to me. 3/3 squat is a big deal to me. 1/3 bench bec the jumped press command smh. then deads is just deads.
now we rest and focus on finals and then lock in for RP PURSUIT OF POWER MEET AHHH.

this isn’t a lift post.. it’s a cardio post
it took us about 18 hours total to complete the ascend and descend. we started at the Fuji Subaru 5th station taking the Yoshida Trail (the easiest trail) and we took the Subashiri Trail (relatively harder trail) and it was the wrong way down where we needed to go… so it took us a bit longer. the sights were beautiful. the night sky was so clear and the stars were so bright, i have never seen stars so so bright before, i even saw my first shooting star. there were moments i had to just stop and lay down to look at the sky. i have absolutely little to none experience with any sort of hiking, so i’m glad to have finished this journey even tho it took me a long time. it was really really difficult for me, the air was thin and it was getting hard for me to breathe while also hiking up elevated terrain. this is definitely one of the things im most proud of doing during my 18 years on this earth. there was times i thought of giving up but i didn’t let myself. im just happy this once in a lifetime opportunity is over and i can brag that i’ve been to the top of mt fuji.
