Sufism, the mystical Persian order, utilizes a rich tapestry of symbols, colors, and designs to represent the inner journey toward divine love, unity, and (ego) self-annihilation. The Persian Sufism is heavily influenced by pre-Islamic cultural elements like Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism - and rooted in profound philosophical, poetic, and mystical traditions.
