Three years in and Cortex isn’t just surviving the current cycle. They’re shaping their own path and setting new standards.
Last Saturday felt like a checkpoint as much as a birthday. A moment to clock the distance travelled. From those early link-ups to now holding down a lane that’s unmistakably their own.
The Gallery was alive from the first record. @sanaasuculenta opening the pressure valves with those restless rhythms that twist jungle, footwork and bass into something physical. @vxrgo__ and @djdeselecta sliding through the low-end with that slippery, heads-down energy. @shirley__temper steering the room through that sweet spot where techno, breaks and house blur together. @sully.e64 sealing the circle with selections built for a floor that refuses to stand still.
Three years of Cortex.
