đđ 60% of garments arriving at Kantamanto Market are kept in circulation - sold as-is, repaired or upcycled. Within this part, upcycling only makes a small portion - but Yayra Agbofahâs company âThe Revivalâ @therevival.earth rescued around 7 million garments from landfill over a two-year period.
The Revivalâs work integrates
đ environmental protection
đ economic empowerment, and
đ social welfare
with a focus on education and training women from the market to become upcyclers. đȘĄ
Yayra is fighting to change the perception of Kantamanto from a âdumpâ to a center for innovation and circular economy, and is pushing for structural responsibility on the part of the global fashion industry for its waste. đȘđż
đ The Revival collaborated with pineapple farms, for example, to design uniforms that protect workers from injury, reusing textile waste â such as denim â to create a sustainable alternative to fossil-based clothing.

What an incredibly big day! Today, the Polish parliament passed a ban on fur farms with large majority. Poland is the worlds second largest fur producer.
This was only possible through the years of tireless work of @wiltoska , @andrewskowron and all @otwarteklatki .
Big thanks also to all activists and NGOâs around the world for helping to end this disgusting atrocity for good.
Does this mean that foxes, minks, raccoon dogs and nutrias are are already save? Not yet - because the Senate and the President still need to approve it. After that, a transition period of eight years will apply, which can be halved for a cash payment.
For a couple of years I have been on investigations, rescues, organized countless demos and was involved in various kinds of activism. Today is a historic day for all fur animals.

Last but not least, the legend that is @sebastianmullaert took a moment off from his revered Circle Of Live jams to transform the albums deepest cut âArdorâ into an extraordinary musical journey.
