Continuing our tradition of hosting OFF-BCN parties for over 20 years, we are delighted to announce our return to the Catalan capital on Sunday 21 June. This year, we have secured the beautiful outdoor venue, Seasea Club, and will be delivering one of our finest line-ups yet: Our long-time friend @djkozeofficial will be making one of his rare appearances under the Mediterranean skies. The enigmatic Pachanga Boys, aka @thegoldenravedays and @rebolledo_____ , are also a scarce sight in Europe and will perform one of their legendary back-to-back sets. Our favourite canine, @rexthedog1980 , will perform his renowned modular live show. @raxon and @michael__mayer will join forces for an epic three-hour back-to-back set, and hot on the heels of her Kompakt debut release, @gretalevska will complete this spectacular line-up. My new record is released today. Been there, done that... blah blah blah. WAIT! Actually, I’m particularly excited about this one. Believe it or not, it’s my first ever solo Speicher 12“! After working on the musically diverse Lava album, I felt a strong urge to create the kind of music I like to play during the peak hours of my sets. So, here they are: Three highly energetic tracks straight from the heart, destined for that sweet spot where functionality veers towards the unexpected and rawness melts into beauty.
Der Karneval ist immer eine Zeit des Wandels, die nicht nur gesellschaftliche Normen für einige Tage auf den Kopf stellt, in dem sie den Menschen durch Maskerade, Verkleidung und Rollentausch erlaubt, die eigene Identität zu wechseln. Der Karneval markiert auch den Wechsel der Jahreszeiten, den Übergang vom Winter in den Frühling, er ist für manche der Beginn einer neuen Beziehung oder der Start der Fastenzeit. Für manche eine kurze Befreiung vom Alltag, für andere Ventil für politische Kritik und gerade im Rheinland ganz besonders wichtig für uns Menschen: eine Stärkung der Gemeinschaft.
Nach 5 aufregenden und wunderschönen Jahren im @clubheim_olympia , stehen dieses Jahr auch bei uns die Zeichen auf Veränderung. Allem voran ist da mit dem „Park Café“ im Rheinpark eine neue Venue, die zu den schönsten und architektonisch wie landschaftlich interessantesten Orten in ganz Köln gehört.
Mit einem großen Open Air-Bereich inklusive Rhein- und Domblick ausgestattet, erlaubt das Café auch das anschließende Indoor-Clubbing bis in den frühen Morgen. Drum herum gibt es viel zu entdecken, zu trinken und zu essen und vor allem zu tanzen.
Unser diesjähriges Motto „Alaaf changes (everything)“ möge euch in diesem Sinne ein Licht im Dunklen und ein leises Lied im Ohr sein, das euch nicht nur durch die Karnevalstage begleiten, sondern auch darüber hinaus ein wenig Hoffnung geben soll:

In case I forgot to tell you… My new track ‚Erdbeermond‘ is out now as a part of our latest TOTAL 25 compilation. Erdbeermond translates into strawberry moon which occurred to me to be a suitable title as there was an incredible strawberry moon hanging in the sky the night I started working on this tune.
