Not every season of life is easy to post… prime example that you never know what someone might be going through behind closed doors.
Last year at the beginning of April I was hospitalized overnight due to health complications. I was told that if I didn’t start making serious lifestyle changes it could eventually lead to life altering consequences. Nobody likes being told what they need to change especially when it means cutting certain things out cold turkey…but being scared sh*tless definitely put things into perspective.
Began my fitness journey exactly one year ago today and it has definitely been one of the best decisions of my life. Not going to sit here and say it’s been easy but there’s beauty in the struggle. Overcame a wrist injury during the process but didn’t let it stop me from reaching the goal at hand. Grateful to have the gym as an outlet to clear my head, relieve stress and get through the tough days a little easier.
To everyone who’s helped me throughout this journey, especially behind the scenes…THANK YOU…y’all know who you are. I’m forever grateful for the advice, encouragement, support and genuine love shown along the way.
Never forget… consistency always wins.
