The @diverseartistsnetwork (DAN) has announced the programme for DIASPORA! 26 returning from 1-10 May. Following the success of the 2024 pilot, this landmark festival has doubled in length, to spotlight the incredible creative diversity of the region.
The 2026 programme is a testament to the collaborative spirit of Bristol, representing a major success for partnership working. While much of the festival has been curated and organised by the DIASPORA! Team, the programme also platforms existing events across the city, acting as a unified stage for the region’s talent.

On the 30th May 2026 at The Jam Jar catch myself @dj_bashmal performing a special outer galactic DJ set with my musical partner in arms @jeevadaku on Dhol and Tabla alongside the amazing @weareterrain crew. Expect the usual bangers without borders. I will be dropping Amapiano, Shatta and Baile Funk tropical riddims and throwing in some Bhangra fushion to get blood flowing!
