I think it's time for an introduction post. 🤗 I call myself an ethno desert deephouse DJ but we all know by now I'm so much more than that! Its been a such a dream going on this journey of discovery and I'm so excited for what comes next ... There are three-ish music styles I most align to and will continue playing. 1. Ethno Desert Deephouse & Desert Downtempo ☀️ 🐫 🏜 This style is initially inspired by desert motifs but really I take inspiration from all around the world: baltic/slavic regions, latino influences, afro vibes, indo-house, middle eastern mystics, playa-tech and so much more. 2. Sexy urban underground vibes 🖤 🌃 🌚 My darker project. Blending gritty techno, breakbeats and indie trance. Best suited for an industrial wasteland. 3. Goa/Psytrance 🦄 🌈 🦋 Who doesn't love a psychedelic rave. If you have a specific creative brief in mind and the vision inspires me and aligns with my work, I would love to work you on that to create a special music journey for your event. It doesn't need to be fully formed plan, even an early initial idea is a great starting point and I can help shape it into a full soundscape. I absolutely love researching new themes and concepts, it allows me to embody different archetypes through music: modern and ancient, angelic and devilish, nature pixie to techno raver. First DJ announcement: Apsara will play at our next BHAN on 9 May! 🧡 She will play from 3 pm to 4 pm, opening our social time, allowing people to settle in, grab a drink, warm up and connect. 🫂 Ahead of the event, Apsara said: "Presence is the greatest gift we can give each other. I cannot wait to share my music and a dancefloor with this gorgeous community who put safety, kindness and connection at the forefront of the rave experience. This is the next evolution of dance culture and I am honoured to be part of it." 😊 Apsara is a multi-faceted artist, musician and performer who can seamlessly blend Deep House, Downtempo and Techno. 🎶 She is a regular face on the London underground scene having played at many well known events such as Fox and Badge, Bohemian Spiritz, The Rocket Project, Planet Caravan and London Decompression. She is also a regular DJ at Nowhere Festival (the Spanish Regional Burning Man event) and Ouroborus Fundraising Raves. 💃 Since childhood, she has been inspired by myths, legends, magic and fables from around the world and has profound appreciation for global musical traditions. Apsara weaves the delicate beauty of ethnic instruments and mystical vocals with hypnotic basslines, creating a symphony that transcends geographical boundaries.
