a wedding present for @taygitts + @alljamesgall : a fun lil caddy of coasters for their new house 🏡 they are highkey design icons so it was very easy to get inspired for this from looking at their wedding website 🎨 💗
sharing some of my last projects from earlier in the summer starting with a set of yellow cereal bowls that are sooooo heavily used in our apt right now 💛🌟🌼
big update time 👀🪩 🐸 I left Artshack!
Now I laugh remembering how frustrated I was when I couldn’t center a pound of clay or make two cups that matched. I learned so much in the past three years and I’m highkey proud of how much time I put in to practicing. At the same time I have also watched this studio become more and more about profit and power over community building and respecting others 🥱🙄 boo tomato tomato! anyways…thank you thank you thank you to my toadies 🥹 especially all of you who supported me in learning these skills, visited me at sidewalk sales, shared pics and bought pieces! I don’t have plans for the next chapter of disco toad just yet, maybe a class or position with another studio (anyone tryna mix glass and pottery hmu!) or a retreat upstate (invite me wood firing or soda firing plsss) for now I’m looking forward to taking a break and stretching my wrists tf outtttt 🤌🏽🫨 p.s. if you missed my offish goodbye party I will be hanging around a teeny bit longer to finish up glazing my last pieces 🌟 🎨
