Sequences? Distortion? Come and find out! Sounds at 9pm - $10 or PWYC

We’re coming out again and joining old friends @vkmusicorg (@sharpbrady - processed guitar, @matthamilton72 - processed guitar, @4ndrwm - processed electronic drums) and sonic explorers Blind Trace (@posttaste - hammered dulcimer, @thisisntben - synths) for a night of experimental improv!
We’re not sure exactly what we’re doing yet, but we think it might involve modular and loop mangling shenanigans - come join us and find out! Music starts at 8pm, and we’re asking $10 at the door, but no one will be turned away.

ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT✨ Disaster Trees is the tidal electronic duo of Kim Rueger (Belly Full Of Stars) and Chris Rueger (wkujater). They submerge headlong into modular drones, abyssal analog tones, with touches of processed glitch-shimmer that dance and bob on the surface. Improvising with found sound samples, analog and FM synths, cut-up piano compositions, developing loops, modular manipulation, and occasional processed guitar, they explore the unseen sonic depths of the inner sea.

church located in East Nashville
- from 6pm until
midnight on May 18th. The evening will feature 12+
local artists performing interlocking sets to create an
unbroken wave of sustained sound and music.
Attendees are free to come and go, but we hope you
will join until the last note rings to experience the
meditative effects of extended, uninterrupted sound.
Prepare to bring yoga mats, blankets & pillows
Emerson Hall is a wide open warehouse-style space.
Performers will be in the center of the room with
attendees/ droners on the floor, surrounding in a
circle.
Inspired by the 24-hr drone in @basilicahudson , We
will be droning at the same date and time, a sister
satellite.
