Sundance 2026 was amazing! Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant was embraced by audiences throughout and I was so honored to be included in the cohort from Aotearoa/New Zealand that went to celebrate and support the world premiere.

Navigating a major expansion in my music practice into scoring for screen is a huge step for me, and I’m so excited to be mentored by Dame Gaylene Preston for a whole year. What a gift.

A very special element of the score is that it features the voice of the films’ star and multi-talented musician in her own right @hunlynch . Hannah’s magnetic performance throughout the film was the emotive compass for the entire score. I felt grateful she trusted me with manipulating her vocal so wildly through my synthesizers and I love how it turned out

It’s finally here! With an original soundtrack by Dream Chambers & Arli Liberman The Ridge premieres tonight Tuesday October 21st. Catch it on Sky Open at 8:30pm or NEON from 5pm. Produced in partnership with BBC Scotland the series will also be available on BBC iplayer and BBC Two.
Directed by @douglas.mackinnon and @robynmgrace . Starring @laurenlyle7 and @jayryanofficial It was an incredible experience to compose the score for this six episode psychological thriller set in rural Aotearoa and Glasgow Scotland. We went deep and dark with our rigs and found a sound that expressed Mia’s rage and determination as she hunts for Cassy’s killer.
