At 12, I started shooting dance and music videos, mostly using the guerilla-style method and editing with Windows Movie Maker. So, when @sexsymblsyn and @minznse collaborated on this project and wanted to bring me on board, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to revisit my roots. It was incredibly nostalgic and so much fun just riding around the city of Lagos with my bros — @banx9figures (Creative Director) and @hassaniofafrica (Production Manager) searching for the best location that was in alignment with my vision to use as a backdrop while battling Egbon Adugbos (street urchins) .Special appreciation goes to the now “Ex-manager” at QMB supermart, Mr. Juwon, a man with a kind heart and vision, who graciously allowed us to carry out our filming with no hassle and most definitely without running our budget thin (which is rare whilst filming in the city of Lagos), by honoring our request on the spot and agreeing to let us boldly showcase and promote the brand’s identity as compensation.Director: @leroyuwaifoCreative Director: @banx9figuresProduction Manager: @hassaniofafricaProduction Company: @novarisfilms
