I still remember watching Zane Harrison @harrisongromlife have that epic season in Hawaii. We were just kids, and I was still super intimidated by Pipe. Then out of nowhere, Zane wins Sunset, takes out the Pipe Trials, and starts giving it to the world’s best — and beating them.
For any surfer, that’s the dream. But for an 18-year-old kid from the Sunny Coast to do it… unreal. He charged fearlessly and really set the bar for all of us younger guys to step up in big waves and push ourselves. That season lit a fire in a lot of hearts. 🌊🔥
