We perform the piece live tomorrow night at @denisonu@artsatdenison where we’re back in residence this week working with student composers, percussionists, computer music classes, astrologists, psychologists, and area high school students.

Third Coast Percussion will lead a one-week chamber music intensive as part of the Northwestern University Percussion Symposium in 2026. Students in the chamber music intensive will experience 6 days of coaching and mentorship from TCP on music from our ensemble’s repertoire, culminating in a concert performance of this music. Students may apply as individuals or as pre-formed percussion ensembles.
Students will also take classes from a bonkers list of distinguished faculty 🤯

It took a little longer than planned, but I’ve arrived in Switzerland, and so far managed to find a picture of myself, visit the ol’ Lion in Lucerne, and enjoy an epic old school schnitzel with @mp7282@therealdavidskidmore and #seanneedsinstagram! Really excited for @thirdcoastpercussion to play some @chriscerrone starting tomorrow, plus @jlin_p and more later in the week at @musikkollegiumwinterthur .
Also a note: you should know that if you are traveling to Europe, your passport must be valid for at least 90 days AFTER the scheduled date of your return to the states. Just saying that last part for no reason, just wanted to share that bit of information.

Great to celebrate with the whole @thirdcoastpercussion team, plus @ry_brennan was complimented on her dress by one Taylor S, and we got to see Viola Davis complete her EGOT and Beyoncé break the record for most Grammys (take that, Georg Solti!….?) Thanks all for the love and support!
