Behind the scenes at 1900 M St. NW, our team is tackling extensive structural and slab repairs to restore the fourth floor back to its original structural design intent. Following the removal of an existing interconnecting stair, DFS is completing a new concrete slab infill designed to restore the floor plate seamlessly and match the existing structural system.
From detailed rebar placement and slab reinforcement to extensive shoring and structural support, this phase of work highlights the precision and coordination required to safely execute structural modifications in an occupied downtown office environment. Projects like this are a reminder that some of the most important work on a project happens beneath the surface.

We recently received the professional photos of the Nurse Megan Aesthetics medspa space and loved seeing how closely they mirror the original renderings. Those renderings became a roadmap for execution, guiding everything from the geometric wall panels and integrated lighting to the clean millwork and layered textures.
Seeing the finished space align so seamlessly with the initial concept is a testament to strong collaboration, thoughtful design, and precise construction. When everyone is working toward the same vision, the results speak for themselves.
