2025 what a year oh my

Cutest shoot day ever xx Petra Fagerstrom x Fraeshblaek On this collaboration we wanted to critique the rise of the “trad wife”-trend by using Petra’s lenticular printing technique to make garments that appears at first to be a classic “feminine” floral pleated garment, but as it spins the garment transitions seemingly into the conservative woman’s worst nightmare: a giant abstract full body tattoo. To create these garments, I first tattooed and photographed 3 women who wanted to dedicate their body to the project. After that a 1:1 depiction of the tattoo’s were painted with oil on canvas. Petra then digitalised and aligned the tattooed body’s and painting’s perfectly, to then print and hand pleat each garment on silk, to create the visual illusion that it appears to be see through. This one was a wild ride.
