For everyone who followed me on this very long and frustrating process of recording this mix, I did it!!! THANK YOU to the people who held the keys to helping me unlock all the mysteries of recording a mix since the DJM-REC app I’ve been using for years is now garbage (RIP).
This process made me realize how much I care about making mixes, especially after taking for granted the ability to do so, and also how a lot of people maybe don’t care so much. Which is fine.
About the mix! This is my first non-vinyl mix that I made for me. Created solely on what feels and sounds good to me, and trusting that little voice that says “YES! That’s the next song to play!”
Track list is in the description, but I have songs included from friends @chaseandthedragonmusic@devstep.av and a few off the @inbassion.recs label, and just a bunch of really good DnB. An almost 2 hour adventure through multiple sub-genres and eras, as it seems like my thing I naturally like to do :)
Art is by me 🤍Let me know if you recognize that sound system ;) I drew it for a class last year, and made a new edit for this. I’ve been trying to find the right moment to share this art because we need for real art in this world.
