Just a gal and her flowers. Not just any flowers though, one of my (ok…like top ten) favorite flowers, sweet peas! Symbolically, they’ve been used as a sign of remembrance or sweet departure, as well as sentiments of appreciation and gratitude. Things I’m all about! I love learning about the symbols that people have bestowed upon flowers over the course of history, it’s fascinating! It can also be a fun and romantic way to play around with deeper meanings in your wedding flowers, much like they did in Victorian times. Photo by @haleyrichterphoto

Likely one of our favorite aisles to date for MaryRose and Jake, captured by @haleyrichterphoto with planning by @arielleferaevents . This was such a gorgeous day, brimming with so many details and so many flowers. The couple was so patient and sweet, they were one of the many that had to reschedule a couple of times! But the patience paid off, because their day was simply stunning, these images of this ceremony providing much proof of that.

In the spirit of the holiday weekend ahead, Mother’s Day always reminds me of my why and the season of life I’m currently in. There is so much more behind the work we share online. Behind the weddings, the flowers, the installations, and the long work days… there is also motherhood, resilience, movement, creativity, discipline, and lots of dog hair. :) I’m grateful for every person who has supported my work and chosen to be here through all the seasons. Happy Saturday! Just had to relive Chris & Rich’s day a little at the one month mark with some gorgeous flowers. I personally love to infuse flowers for your wedding that are unique, something you or your guests have maybe never seen before, it just makes it feel that much more special, because it is. Thanks to @vividmomentswithsan for capturing our BTS for this magical day!

Kicking off spring wedding season on the actual first day of spring felt pretty perfect 🌸 This day with Bree and her team from @allaboutevents_phl , with @sarah.dicicco behind the lens, was such a dream. We leaned into an Anthro-meets-Philly vibe, layering a soft spring palette of coral, blush, peach, and greens, with a pop of yellow (because nothing says spring quite like that). Bree asked us to incorporate basket weave and rattan, so we brought in some of our favorite pieces, including rattan hurricanes, hanging lanterns and table lamps, making it cohesive with anything Bree and her team executed. The end result felt light, joyful, and effortlessly beautiful. Ceremony, but make it unforgettable. Chris and Rich came to us with a vision rooted in color, drama, and pure lushness, and we leaned all the way in. loved working alongside @bringonthebrides to bring this vision to life so seamlessly. Instead of a scattered mix of tones, I wanted this to feel organic yet elevated. Think painterly. Color that moves and blends the way it would on a canvas. One side of the arch lived in cool tones with blues, purples, and pinks. The other began with hints of pink to connect, then melted into oranges and warm yellows. The aisle followed suit. Each piece held either a warm or cool palette, grounded with moss so everything felt organic, like it was growing right from the space. For that final moment of drama, we introduced draping revealed after the procession. A rich chartreuse green anchored the entire design, tying back to the moss and greenery and allowing the colors at the altar to truly glow. Just a little throwback moment today. ✨ Simran & Kevin’s wedding at the Please Touch Museum still lives rent free in my mind in the best way. Coming back for our recent showcase brought all of those memories flooding right back. Captured so beautifully by @sweetwaterportraits , with hair and makeup by @truebeautymarks , and that absolutely stunning @reemacrawedding gown that Simran chose, everything about this day felt so full of life and COLOR. We leaned into a rich palette for their celebration and it feels like the perfect lead in because our next wedding is going ALL in on color. I seriously cannot wait to share what we have coming next 🌸

Catching up to share a few of our favorite moments from February at the Love is in the Air event with @tiffanychalkevents . Tiffany envisioned a space that felt like stepping into a living art gallery, and needless to say, she absolutely nailed it. Every detail was spot on, layered, and full of subtle hints to an art gallery. In the end, it was the space that made you pause and take it all in. We loved bringing the florals into this concept and watching the space come to life.
