National Safe Work Month is a time to reaffirm our commitment to building healthy and safe workplaces for everyone.
A healthy and safe workplace is essential for everyone. This year’s theme, "The Way Forward", highlights not only the importance of workplace health and safety but also the benefits for businesses that prioritise effective risk management and worker wellbeing.
Over the past week, the MATES team has been busy delivering training sessions across Western Australia. We joined forces with MATES in Energy to deliver the General Awareness Talk alongside Kaylene Chidgey for Industry Partner, Potentia Energy, and
@vestas . This session was especially meaningful, as MATES in Construction WA supported the project during its construction phase before it became a fully operational wind farm.
The MATES WA team also delivered multiple sessions across sites for our Industry Partner
@devlynconstruction including the Perth Children’s Hospital, Peel Health Campus, and SwanCare projects.
Alongside these trainings, the team delivered suicide prevention training for
@overwatchtrafficservices in Bassendean, Consolidated Minerals in West Perth,
@tyrone_group_australia in Wangara, and delivered the MATES Apprentice Resilience Training for the legends at
@electricalgrouptraining (EGT).
If you or someone you know needs support, the MATES Helpline is free and available 24/7 at 1300 642 111.
