We are thrilled to share an architectural and landscape project that we are doing with TIERRA Design in Thailand, which has commenced construction.
.
The site, connected to sea and existing klong canals will have shared public and private amenities and residences immersed in landscape.
.
We would like to thank TIERRA @tierradesign_thailand for inviting us on the team to help deliver a quality, site specific project. It is going to be amazing ❤️

We’re a Perth based studio passionate about creating spaces where architecture and landscape are deeply connected. At CaPA, we design homes, community places and civic spaces that feel grounded, immersive and alive. Our architecture is robust and sculptural. Our landscapes are layered and local. Together, they shape experiences that are both beautiful and deeply personal. We’re proud to work across Western Australia, weaving people, place and purpose into everything we do.

A new project in design for an extended family.
Integrating a gatehouse element and an entry forecourt at the front of the home and off the street creating an open landscaped meander through the front garden to the home from the street.
The entry courtyard can be left open or closed and serves to also provides light, ventilation and a quiet and private connection to nature to a number of spaces within the home.
HYATT REGENCY in Sanur, Bali
A recent renovation and upgrade by TIERRA Design - Thailand (Architecture + Landscape) and Spin Design Studio - Tokyo (Interiors) 6 years in.
One of the first international hotels in Bali, the hotel was originally opened in 1973, led by the legendary West Australian architect Kerry Hill whilst at Palmer Turner with the extensive landscape designed by Made Wijaya.
TIERRA provided a landscape led approach over the 9000m2 site, remodelling the entry lobby with more expansive garden views and additional functionality. Multiple new dining pavilions were added, along with extensive new linkages, which echoed existing column details whilst typologically being distinct with its landscaped rooves and basalt flooring. New communal adults and children pools were added in conjunction with landscaped ponds shaped around existing trees. Beach elements of sand, decking, and umbrellas extend into the site, interfacing with the hotels restaurants and coastal landscape. The upgrade also included a new fitness centre, spa, yoga studio, children’s facilities (indoor and outdoor play)
For the staff, the hotel provides a fully landscaped, immersive environment for work and professional development.

The project, along with the adjacent Andaz Hotel, represents one of our first early design involvements with TIERRA, with director Steven Postmus providing assistance to Martin Palleros during the Concept Stages. Many thanks to TIERRA for the opportunity to contribute in a small way on such a wonderfully significant and beautifully realised landscape led projects.

The architecture, interiors and landscape of our Tate Residence are shaped by connections to landscape, where every room opens to a quiet pocket of garden. From the bedroom’s intimate outlook framed by sculptural pillars, the living space melds with a sunlit courtyard, the architecture invites calm, light and movement throughout the day.

Trigg. Architecture, Landscape & Interiors.
Starting on site this month, this home has been designed as a seamless blend of architecture and landscape. With a take on the traditional pitched roof forms and verandah, generous connections from the internal spaces to various landscaped spaces have been curated to provide a variety of experiences. It’s all about creating easy flow and spaces that feel calm and lived in.
Our scope covers both architecture, landscape and interiors, so every detail from the built form and the surrounding grounds has been considered as one cohesive vision. Excited to see this one start to come to life. Keep your eyes on our stories.
