All animals approached us, and engines were shut off or in neutral when legally necessary and appropriate to do so.
Humpback Whales with white pectoral fins were often targeted in the whaling industry due to easier visibility. I was lucky to find a of these while in Hawaii, including my first and last Humpbacks.
