Bel Air has been special to us from day one. Not just another credit or chapter, but a real milestone. To make art with incredible collaborators is always an amazing experience but It’s another thing to be trusted with a story that carries this much history. As this final season airs, it’s bittersweet and we couldn’t be more proud of the work, the music, the long nights, and the connections we’ve made along the way. Endless gratitude to the cast & crew, our showrunners, and the visionary @cooperfilms for inviting us to be part of the team, breathe life into this world, and honor a legendary piece of culture.

Milan & Pavia, Italy, Summer 2025. It was an amazing time of digging deeper into film scoring at the Screen Music Program. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience to take masterclasses from composers Jeff Beal, Ian Hultquist, Ryan Shore, Batu Sener, Alison Plante, Robbie Teehan, Luigi di Guida, and Diego Pugliese. Highlights were recording with an Italian string quartet and creating memories with new friends ❤️ Special thanks to @screenmusicprogram@paolofossofilm@robertomengoli_music@eduucioffi for all that you do. @bjdavidsonmusic for reorchestrating and being my copyist! And @giuliorosatelli_production for your help in mixing and teaching me so many new things.

These past two weeks, I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful staff of @screenmusicprogram , taking masterclasses with film industry extroarinares @jeffbealmusic , @ryanshore , @batusener , and @ihultquist and having a string quartet of mine recorded for a rescore project alongside so many other aspiring composers from all over the world. I am endlessly grateful to have taken part in this and for all the wonderful friends I made along the way. 💚

Late in sharing but it was amazing to attend the premiere of @weareguardiansfilm , and it was incredible to hear how efforts to protect the Amazon Rainforest have actually been working, with deforestation down 80% and more & more land being marked as ‘Protected’/owned by indigenous peoples. This is not to say the work is done but encouraging that positive change is possible.
Brazil lost about 2,500 sq mi of Amazon rainforest between 2023–24—that’s roughly the size of Delaware, definitely not something that can be ignored!!
But having voices like Mark Ruffalo supporting the film and stars Leonardo DiCaprio (Exec. Producer) and Fisher Stevens (Producer) backing this project amplifies its impact. Make sure to follow @weareguardiansfilm to keep up with the effort and catch the film wherever you can!!

This Friday, We Are Guardians hits theaters — a powerful, urgent film about the fight to protect the Amazon Rainforest and the Indigenous communities who call it home.
I had the honor of composing the score with @fbthemastermind@th3rdstream@cyruspaulmusic@devincreilly@raulenfam & Pupillo for this deeply moving documentary, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Fisher Stevens, and directed by the brilliant Edivan Guajajara, Chelsea Greene, and Rob Grobman.
