I totally did a double take and it was a real “holy shit!” Moment for me and I’m stoked to have the big fella following my humble and nerdy account!
Thank you Jon! I hope you like this art! I had fun putting it together. You better believe it was “miller time” when I sat down in my studio to sketch this one up! That classic pose of you adopting a wide stance and head banging with your bass just about touching the ground is iconic! I have you in my top 5 bassists for sure! (Among such low end luminaries as Jason Newstead, Flea, Ryan Martinie and I wanna say probably the late Chi Cheng too).
Your output with Devildriver on early albums was the stuff o’ legend dude and Im keen as hell to see what you’ll bring to the table on the new album, prowling ominously and menacingly between frequencies in the mix! The thundering rumble that locks in with the drums between monolithic slabs of duelling sledgehammer guitar riffs and searing, soaring solos.

This album is awesome. The style is awesome and each song on the album is my favorite one. It's kind of a mix between melodic death and groove metal. It's very melodic and the songs are well written. This album will grow on you. i was so exited when i knew that Dez was forming a new band with talented musicians, when i first listened to the first album, i liked it but i found it a litle bit non-original and a simply hardcore album, BUT, this new album really show the maturation of the band, it is very different from the first, this one is full of heavy riffs with a superb drums and of course awesome vocals. I started listening to one song on this album before I bought it (Hold back the day) and thought it was soo good, that I would get the album. I was worried a bit that this would be the only good song on the album. NOPE, all the songs are great great GREAT!
