Im OBSESSED with results. Not ideologies, talking points or un-proven theories, but results. Evidence, proof and the opportunity to compound a return on investment, this is what drives me.
Conservation has become conversation. Is dialogue, open discussion and deliberation absolutely necessary in order to grow, 100%. But at some point ya gotta have a proven model. And more importantly, a track record of getting things done.
This is why I partner with groups like @bluesafari_seychelles . Stakeholders who have a vested interest in improving ecosystems and providing world-class experiences for people who love nature. A $ percentage from daily tenants goes in to their foundation which then supports research like Shark tagging, Manta ID work, Tortoise tagging, Sea Turtle monitoring, habitat restoration and so much more. They have the least invasive fishing (fly fishing) techniques I have seen. They put sustainability to practice with a local farm, water treatment facility and solar farm.
All this allows me, a conservation driven Nat Geo Explorer, access to prime wildlife stories. This is a great model not just in Seychelles, but one that can be applied globally. I was not paid or asked to say these words or post. I care DEEPLY about nature and wildlife, and thats why I choose to collaborate with those preserving nature and proving that she is WORTH MORE ALIVE.
