Here are just a few clips from the Feb. 21st Ismail Lumanovsky & Inspector Gadje Balkan Brass Band show at the Rickshaw Stop, with special guest Deuce Eclipse. GREAT energetic show! BTW - Rakia and Raki are 2 completely different spirits… Rakia is a fruit brandy, while Raki (like it’s regional equivalents, Arak and Ouzo) is an anisette from grapes… I had always assumed Rakia was just the Balkan version of Raki but I was wrong! 🥴 Anyone know the Belly Dance Troupe name?
