did a complete overhaul of my technique 2 weeks ago and, as my mom said, “i guess those changes worked”. definitely still rough around the edges but that just means there’s more to come - can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings 😈 !!

USAs 2025 was full of firsts - the first time para and able bodied athletes competed alongside each other, first American Record this year, first full season of shot put, first time competing at Hayward, 1st place T35 shot put 🥇 :)
So unbelievably grateful to everyone who supported me and got me through probably the toughest season of my life. I knew it wouldn’t be easy going into the season knowing my hip was torn (and needed surgery) and starting a whole new event, but I am really proud of how I competed and never gave up even when at times I couldn’t even walk. Although I won’t be in India this year, I’m only hungrier for more now. Special shout out to @throwsfromthethrone for her patience with my insanity and @goosetrackhero for keeping me going 🤍 See you all in 2026 (with a functional hip!!!) 💕💕💕
