Extremely delighted about this - we’ve managed to piece this together along with help from folks at @greaterthangin . It’s been a while we’ve gone on tour so we’re quite excited and nervous to put ourselves back there once again. 🥹👯
GOOD THING is we’ve got a friggin 2 hours set now and it’s BOMBs & VIOLENCE 💣🔫✖️🧨
Past few months have been extremely overwhelming, safe to say screen time, social media and internet has sky rocketed but to receive the support and energy back from the wonderful music press and editors supporting south asian music has been very joyous and satisfying, thanks everyone - Saturn Return couldn’t have moved pedals without ya’ll 🥺🫶🏽🫂
Also, we ain’t done yet - more stuff coming your way this part has just started 🪐🧏🏽
EP3 “Saturn Return” drops this 26.may
Chuffed to announce that we’ve finally returned to orbit after a two year long hiatus
This record’s been long in the making (THREE YEARS) and is finally ready to be yours
Over the past months, we’ve brainstormed with partners @niharikaa.chauhaan@alimonisnaqvi & @prabhakar_d over many feni, urraks and lime sodas to give it the artwork it deserves and safe to say we couldn’t be more pleased, in fact stoked
This record has lived through many different times of our lives from personal setbacks to line-up changes to change of cities to everything a group has to endure possibly but to overcome all of it gives us more optimism and strength, safe to say we are in it for good and a for a long long time, thanks to your love and the universe of course (:
GRATEFUL
Special thanks to all our collaborators, @sijya@4ursat@arpanintended@jambluness@yuvaanmakar@shadeofdeodars@kaushik_hazarika@msm7876x@head_on_stick@psynodent and all the help received from the OG @rounakmaiti 🩶
LOVE YOU ALL xx
Hope you enjoy the record as much as we do
Purée Mag presents: Dreamers of Prettier Beings, a film by Niharika Chauhan (@niharikaa.chauhaan ) with music by Dee En (@deeeeend ).
OUT NOW ON
Dreamers of Prettier Beings is a five-minute short film shot during the Goa monsoon. It follows the humdrum patterns and rhythms of domestic life as a lover sings about his muse. The director of the film, Niharika Chauhan appears as the muse. Chauhan turns the camera back on herself repositioning the muse as the maker, the quiet inspiration for music and life. The dulcet tones of the song carry the visuals through rituals of her everyday. Yet the everyday also churns and holds anxiety, and routines become a way to distract, to centre, or to keep a rhythm going, while the mind unravels. In this quietude, there lies contradiction and discomfort.
Film Credits:
Director: Niharika Chauhan
Music: Dee En
Colour: Ashrey Goel
Title Design: Yuvaan Makar

Emerging from Delhi’s indie scene with their debut EPs Whoopsie Daisy and Poppin, DEE EN quickly caught attention from the likes of Rolling Stone India, Red Bull and Wild City for their distinctive songwriting and sonic identity. Since then, the band has evolved into a rhythm driven alternative act, weaving together post punk urgency, groove led arrangements and the pulse of drum machines while holding onto a strong melodic core.
Known for building immersive live environments through textured lighting, resonant tones and a carefully shaped visual language, DEE EN bring a show that feels as atmospheric as it is energetic. Their latest release Saturn Return, praised by Mixmag for its blend of lo fi haze and psychedelic soundscapes, features collaborations with Sijya, Rohit Gupta of Peter Cat Recording Co and Arpan Kumar of Green Park.

The Portuguese man o’ war is a marine siphonophore found in tropical and subtropical oceans. Although it resembles a jellyfish, it is not a single organism but a colonial hydrozoan composed of specialized, genetically identical individuals known as zooids.
Each zooid performs a distinct role within the colony. Some form the gas filled float that remains above the water surface and acts as a sail, allowing it to drift with wind and currents. Others are responsible for capturing prey, digestion, defense, and reproduction. The colony operates as a unified whole, and the individual components are not capable of independent survival.
Beneath the surface, long tentacles can extend several meters into the water. These tentacles contain venomous cells used to immobilize prey. Contact can cause intense pain in humans.
