Ritika Singh, To Be Held, Someday This work reflects on memory carried through relationships, especially between a daughter and her mother. Within Memory Keepers, Ritika Singh traces emotional inheritance and the quiet ways family histories shape our sense of self and connection. 💛📷 Through photographs and family archives, it looks at what we inherit emotionally and how these experiences shape us over time. On view till 11 April 2026 📍Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts

Ritika Singh 📷💫 Ritika Singh is a visual artist whose practice moves across photography, painting, cyanotype, and mixed media. Her work is rooted in personal experience, exploring memory, relationships, and emotional landscapes. Through layered imagery and material experimentation, she reflects on the quieter, often unspoken aspects of lived experience and how personal histories shape one’s sense of self and connection. As part of memory keepers, Ritika presents her work as a recipient of the Goa Open Arts Catalyst & Engage Artist Grants 2025–2026. Her work is on view as part of the exhibition at Sunaparanta, 20 March – 11 April 2026

Made these photographs last year when I visited Kargil. Instagram deleted most of them but I want to reshare. Muharram is mourning held in the softness of hearts - hearts that melt with love for Hussain, humanity and for justice. It’s not just a memory of loss, but a living legacy of love, resilience, and faith passed down through generations. 🥀
