I (along with Wiggpaw as Simpatico Springs) shared a bill with the Portland based ambient/free-sound artist Ceremonial Abyss at Chill Dawg Cove several years ago when they were on another tour. It was an excellent night. If you didn’t catch them last time don’t sleep this time around!
Christos George and I, as Voracious Waves, will be exploring woodwind drones with MANY cassette players. First time duo collab!
This will only be the second or third Maxwell Citron performance here. He does amazing work with shakuhachi and loudspeaker feedback-very nuanced and hypnotic.
Two fantastic poets, Delia Rainey and Olli Sure, will read passages throughout the night.
This is an early show that will start at 7:30.

a little over a week ago, i helped @fka_hennen move to philly!!!!!! it was an epic journey that i’ll never forget. we waved goodbye to theo, wren, max, and the beloved house hannah has lived in for the past 4 years. the car was JAM PACKED, we drove 7.5 hrs and then stopped in an air bnb cabin in ohio along the way, and then drove another 7 hours the next day and made it to philly just in time to get a parking spot on her street. she had no room to bring furniture in her car so we had to immediately go to ikea to get a bed and bed frame lol. the rest of the week we explored her neighborhood of south philly, set up her room and unpacked, hung out with our amazing pal and h’s new roommate olivia and furry guy ralph, ate some sloppy hoagies, and saw music, our favorite thing to do together, at foto club and johnny brenda’s. it was the week of the strawberry moon, which is supposed to symbolize CHANGE or something. it’s true that hannah is my soulmate, and even that term doesn’t go far enough to describe our bond and how much we care for each other. helping hannah move to philly was one of the most meaningful tasks of my life!!! she has dreamed abt moving there for so long and she friggin did it!!! she is so incredible and talented and i know she is going to do great things in philly and beyond. we miss her here in STL but we know she will be back and i can’t wait to visit her there again :-) love ya, hannah
