This morning my phone showed me these photo memories.
Michael giving Glenn what we always called a Zerbert.
The kind where you press your lips into someone’s cheek and blow out so they vibrate and make that silly sound kids love.
ALS was already in our house then.
Quietly changing everything.
Michael with his “REAL” stethoscope, very serious about checking on his dad.
He was so young.
He didn’t understand ALS.
But he understood that his dad was sick… and that love meant staying close.
ALS was already changing our world then.
But it couldn’t stop a little boy from trying to take care of his father.
A father’s smile.
A little boy’s love.
One ordinary moment that was actually everything. 🤍🤍🤍
Some memories don’t fade.
They just keep reminding you what love looked like.
