Winning the Bieneosa Ebite In-House Trailblazer Award is a real privilege, especially alongside such exceptional comms talent shaping culture and pushing our industry forward.
More personally, this recognition is a reminder that the work is having an impact - that it’s being seen, felt and heard. And that means everything.
This named award represents a legacy of excellence and advocacy. For me, trailblazing isn’t about individual success, it’s about widening the path and creating real opportunity for the next generation.
Walking up to collect the award to “Woman” by @littlesimz (shout out to @mercedesfbenson ) as a longtime fan, felt incredibly symbolic; a powerful reminder of strength, voice and owning your space in every room you step into.

Spent polling day 🗳️ with my boys moving through an exhibition on Black British music - joy, resistance, creativity, culture. Strange and sobering to sit with that whilst the political climate shifts towards something that feels so fundamentally at odds with it. A reminder that culture has always carried what politics too often fails to protect.

Not just because of who was in it but how it felt.
A space full of brilliant women building, leading, figuring things out… but without the pressure to have it all perfectly packaged. No performance, no ego, just honesty, generosity and real conversation.
There’s something powerful about being somewhere you don’t have to second-guess your voice. Where confidence comes from feeling safe enough to speak, share, question and even cry.
