47:42. A new Hyrox Relay World Record!
None of us had ever had a chance to race the relay until very recently. We gathered the forces in Dallas after racing doubles and went after it, smashing the world record by over two minutes in the process.
Relay hurts different! This whole team laid it on the line. Full send. This is going to be a tough record to break.

Hyrox North American Championships. When I tell you the fire was burning inside me for this one, it's an understatement. People thought I was full of shit. That I was dreaming. I'll be honest, it still feels like a dream. But I knew I was better than my performance in Maastricht. I had unfinished business at this race. Sick 2 years ago, I barely even finished. Last year, I withdrew after a sled issue. This time the day was mine!
For two years, I've committed my body, soul and time to mastering Hyrox and becoming the best possible athlete. Saturday validated all that hard work. NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION! 🥇
The race played out tactically just as I wanted it to. The top men who like to go out fast tried to punch each other in the gut and I just ran my own race. Suddenly, I was in podium position and feeling amazing. @thehybridraccoon had the exact same plan and we both executed perfectly. One of us had to win and one had to lose. Dylan, your time will come, but you ran a hell of a race. Proud to share the podium with you. Shout out to @sandy6000 for going for it. Tiger is a monster. He races all out and I respect the hell out of him.
It was an honor to battle with all these talented athletes. This was just my day.

Every moment was filled with learning, connection and excitement. It was an absolute privilege to share some knowledge (gained through the many mistakes I’ve made in the fitness industry) and to meet so many excited and passionate coaches. A huge “Thank You” to @mahonyvicky , @academy_365_piers , @ralf_iwan and @arjunpai18 for running point on this massive project. What a lift! You all should be so proud. And for those coaches out there who missed it: Now you see the value. Find a way to get to the next one. Hyrox is not just an event. Not something you have to do alone. We are a global sport. And the coaches are its lifeblood.
So let’s all continue to move the needle, improve and find better ways to coach our athletes. And let’s share those ways with the world.

Honestly shocked to be back in the HYROX ELITE15 after legitimately being retired for the past couple seasons. Never thought I would walk across that stage again. Between working at Hyrox, managing the gym and making time for family (trying not to be an absentee father), training time has been hard to come by. And I had fallen such a long way after my back injury. That road has been a tale of its own.
Yet, here we were, @markgaudet85 and I, former training partners reunited. For me, my 9th Elite15 race. For Mark, who is active duty @usarmy , his first. We were the oldest team in the field. By far the least prepared. But went out there and fought. We were in the fray deep into the race. 11th place wasn't the goal we set for ourselves, but we raced hard and we took our chances. I'd do it over again in an instant. Honored to toe the line with that amazing group of athletes. And to do it in my hometown in front of all those @trainatelevate athletes. A real dream. Now, back to real life.
