SKILL OF THE WEEK: Tightrope Deadlift
✅ Brace core. Abs tight. Glutes tight. Lats tight.
✅ Stagger Stance. Back toe near front heel.
✅ Keep pressure in front foot.
✅ Hinge at hips, lowering weight to mid shin.
✅ Drive hips to stand, extending at top.
All the same principles of a deadlift apply. This is a single leg deadlift with a second foot to balance. Try it, this week, in HIIT & Run.

Skill of the Week: The DB Renegade Row
✅ This is a push-up meeting a plank row.
✅ Start in high plank: Abs tight. Glutes tight.
✅ Hands should be loaded under shoulders
✅ Lower for a pushup, keeping core tight as you lower toward the ground
✅ Drive up through palms, extended elbows at top
✅ Row one arm by pulling elbow tight to ribs.
✅ Don't rock. Stabilize with core.
✅ Once you've rowed both arms, lower for next push up
SKILL OF THE WEEK: DB Alt. Strict OH Press
✅ Clean DBs to shoulders
✅ Squeeze abs and glutes
✅ Drive weight up with one arm, stabilizing with core to avoid weight shifting
✅ Lower with control before pressing other weight
✅ Avoid dipping knees, hinging hips or using momentum
SKILL OF THE WEEK: DB 1 ARM SNATCH
✅ Start with feet a shoulder width apart, DB in between
✅ Hinge hips and explode through legs to generate force and power.
✅ Pull elbow to direct DB vertically
✅ Punch the sky, extending elbow with bicep to ear
✅ Lower DB with control and repeat
SOTW: DB Incline Bench Press
✅ Squat to pick up weights. Set them on knees as you sit. Then drive knees to put them in position.
✅ Plant feet firmly on floor. Core braced. Head back.
✅ Lower weight to shoulders at about 45 degrees.
✅ Press through palms to extend arms. Weights gently kiss at the top.
✅ Lower with control and repeat.
