We’re still touched and inspired by what went down last week in Cluj, Romania. ✨
A week ago today, we started getting ready for a spontaneous ambient live show we were set to perform the next day. After just three hours of sleep, we went straight from the studio to the airport. During a quick stopover in Munich, we wrapped up preparing our DJ set before flying to Cluj, where we were picked up and taken straight to the stage. After a quick soundcheck, we had an amazing experience, improvising alongside live illustrations.
Right after the show, we packed up and headed to our DJ set, which took place outdoors in a beautiful square in the heart of Cluj. A super fun, three-hour b2b club set followed. With barely any sleep, we were on an early morning flight back to Berlin.
It was a crazy 24 hours packed with memorable experiences - Huge thanks to everyone who made this special event possible!

Spent the last weekend with my dear old friend David in his home studio writing new music. Around 2011 we started VtotheD which was one of my most exciting collaborations from so many. We kind of combined a very psychedelic approach with house & techno music. For those of you who arrived a little later to the party, feel free to check our releases. We’re performing a spontaneous, mostly improvised live ambient set tomorrow in Cluj, Romania, as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of the Centrul Cultural German Cluj, followed by an aftershow DJ gig.
We’ll also be joined on stage by illustrators creating live artwork during the ambient set and with live video mapping of @dominic_kiessling during our DJ set.
It’s going to be a lot of fun - we hope to see you there!
