When you are fighting hard in a race to keep those behind you at bay, sometimes you have to go to 105%…. That extra effort sometimes yields new information.
More powerful pad to rotor contact will create further travel and the @gbrakesusa rotor and pad combination certainly provided much more confidence.
- new decal with the correct distance?
- trim the exiting decal down?
- put a black sharpie line at the correct spot?

Knee pucks cone in so many different types of material that it can be confusing on what to choose.
Wood, leather, ceramic, plastic…. only your experience finds you the puck material you need.
My choice for the last several years has been Bickle. So much feel and grip when needed.

The cable tie or o-ring hack to show fork travel used is a good indicator for you to leverage.
Without a known fork bottom out being marked, the travel indicator has no context.

My 2024 @aprilia_americas Extrema race bike is retired to coaching duties so I have to swap shocks over from the Extrema to the 2026 Factory.
Yes both @ohlinsusa shocks are the same length and interchangeable . The 2026 has the rebound and ride height right under the tank so it is very difficult to make changes.
The race bike STX Ohlins by @thesshopinc was serviced and made ready for @afmracingorg race event in a week.
