Big news AFM racers! 🏁 Thank you to our track day providers for sponsoring this program, for 2026 AFM is upgrading to a professional starting-light system, the same style used in MotoGP, WorldSBK, MotoAmerica and CVMA. This replaces our traditional “3, 2, 1” board process and brings our race starts in line with modern standards across the sport. The new system provides clearer signals, more consistent launches and a safer, more professional start procedure for everyone on the grid. We’re proud to bring this improvement to the AFM and continue elevating the experience for our racers! Big thank you to @cartersatthetrack , @z2trackdays , @volantvivere , & @funtrackdayz1 for making this happen! See you at the start line. ⬛🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴⬛🏁

AFM 2026 Round 1 🏁 Saturday 🥇 350SB 🥇 F5 🥇 350SS Sunday 🥇 350SB 🥇 F5 ❌ 350SS DNF(ran out of gas) What a weekend 😮‍💨 Honestly one of the most physically and mentally exhausting race weekends I’ve had in a while. We rented an RV and brought Vicky to the track with us so she could still come hang out at the races while recovering. Really appreciate everyone that stopped by the pit to check on her and show support ❤️ it meant a lot to both of us. Saturday night after the 3 races we found an engine issue while changing oil 🙃 Huge thanks to my @the9racing teammate @lfz8241319 for rushing the B bike over so we could spend the rest of the night and Sunday morning swapping parts to make Sunday races. Somehow managed to make it out and win the first 2 races Sunday, but by the last race I was completely cooked and made the dumbest mistake ever calculating fuel load. Bike ran out of gas on the first lap and that was the end of the race 😭 still mad at myself about that one lol. Overall though, still such a good weekend. Had some super fun battles with @izaiahthigpen.741 and @nolanleupp247 and got to spend time with a lot of awesome people. Special thanks to @alexkohanim and @robscottpres for the pit crew service 🙏 seriously couldn’t have done it without you guys. And huge thank you to Atsushi for racing the R3 in the 450 class for Vicky and bringing back a medal for her ❤️ That was something we’ll never forget. Thank you for all the sponsors for supporting my program. Already looking forward to the next round 📸 @oxymoronphotography 🛞 @ct_racing @kytamericas @amsoilinc @apracingltd @vmc_racing_usa , Mototron, Vesper Racing

AFM round 1 - - First race weekend completed. It had its ups and downs, but by far what I’ll remember most are the amazing people who surround me and the incredible people I met this weekend. A special thank you to my neighbor Andy — this weekend would not have been possible without his generosity. I competed in 6 races (3 Saturday, 3 Sunday) and finished 5 of them, which honestly felt like a win in my book. Sunday morning, I had a crash on the second lap. I was trying a new approach into Turn 1 and just didn’t commit. I ran it wide and almost made it to the top of the hill before going over the handlebars. I’m okay, and the bike only required a quick rebuild, which would not have been possible without my amazing pit crew: @aids_spade @spooky.savvi @nohochproductions . Thank you all so much for the help and support this weekend — none of it would have been possible without you. After the crash, I went on to hit a new PB (2:07). Placement wasn’t really the goal for me this weekend. The goal was to learn and absorb as much knowledge as possible without trashing myself or the bike. We’ll carry that into Round 2, where I hope to be way more up to speed and complete all 6 races. Overall, Round 1 was an absolute blast (which might be an understatement). I still have a lot to learn, but every road is built one mile at a time, and mine has only just begun. - - - A special thanks to @stoked_goats for allowing me to barrow there trailer this weekend, it was crucial, so thank you thank you thank you. - - - #forliam

AFM round 1 in the books. I went into the weekend just to see how I feel on the bike and how I stack up in expert. I had a great time racing and ended up with far better results than I was expecting. Still lots to work on but I’ll spend this moment enjoying 700 twins super sport 🥈🥉 and 700 twins super bike 🥉. Huge thank you to my crew chief @amy.m.yami , my team TrackStreet Boyz, @afmracing , all of the volunteers and turn workers, Jeremy for giving us a cool place to sleep, @babaganoush83 for the good racing 😘, and all of the racers and friends that inspire me. Lastly, I would like to thank my sponsors: @amsoilinc @helmethouseusa @officialvortexek @rydergear @gbrakesusa @overlaptype @sfmoto

AFM Round One Sunday Results To start the day I elected to skip morning practice. I woke up so congested it felt like I was breathing through a baked potato. I also hadn’t gotten any sponsor logos on the bike due to how hectic Saturday was so I tried to take time for myself. First race for me was Race 5, Open Superbike which played out nearly identical to yesterday, so nothing too exciting. I worked my way past a few people and ended up P4 again after starting in P8. Race 7 was next and that was the 14 lap Formula Pacific Main. I started in the P3 spot on the grid as a result of the finishing order from the four lap Formula Pacific Sprint race on Saturday which was better than the P9 spot I had in the Sprint. Got a decent start and slotted in behind @sawyerlafayetteracing with @ithinkitzryan and @thatdaywalker starting an early battle up front. I knew if I was able to get past Sawyer early I could latch on to the two at the front. Stephen Rue started from the back and he made quick work to be hot on my heels very early. I was able to put Sawyer behind me and get to the front two guys while Stephen had his own battle with the 14 year old MotoAmerica Talent Cup contender. I had pace on Ryan and Jason and was waiting patiently for them to slow themselves in battle or make a mistake that I could capitalize on. I set a new PB of 1:53.9 on two consecutive laps and was the only one under the 1:54 mark for more than one lap. Sure enough Stephen came through in turn six and I told myself there’s no way I’d give up the podium spot. I put my head down to stay with him and used the extra power I had over his R6 to slingshot past into turn one and play defense to finish on the box! P3 and PB 1:53.971! Thank you to my sponsors and my wife @allie_rose_03 ! @turn_3_racing @counterbalance_k9_services @moto.logical @woodcrafttechnologies #woodcrafttechnologies #armourbodies @hindleexhaust @tekmotoperformance Chico, CA @mikecanfield MC Tech @pcpmotorsports @rydergear @_keyesracing_ @racersedgeperformance @ridedunlop @vnmsport @gravesport @racetechtitanium @rynopower @asvinventions @officialvortexek @rabaconda @motionpro @araiamericas @funtrackdayz_woohoo @volantvivere

@afmracing Round One Saturday Results After an early and largely unexplainable crash not even 14 turns into the first qualifying session on the bike I had for my secondary classes, I only got one qualifying session on the R1 I’m fortunate to borrow for my main classes until my ZX-10R is ready. During that qualifying I did have a PB of 1:59.307. Race 2 was Open Superbike where I was gridded P8. I got a feel for the changes suggested by @mikecanfield in the first lap but was being too polite to another rider for too long which would cost me later. I finally made a move into turn one to get into P6. From there I focused on hitting my marks, caught and took P5 then saw P4 not far off. Put in a hard last lap and took P4 at the line by 0.1. New PB 1:56.391. Race seven was the Formula Pacific Sprint for four laps. At the start I was gridded P9 and was P4 crossing the start finish stripe off the launch. I held there behind @sawyerlafayetteracing but knew I was in fast company and would have to keep strong pace to finish well especially with teammate and #5 plate @alexricci120 in P5 behind me. I threw a couple shots at Sawyer and he defended well but ultimately got a run into turn 14 and took over. From there I wanted to slow the pace a bit to see if it would help Alex come up but ultimately I was still dropping time. Held P3 for three laps and finished third with a new PB of 1:55.632! Had a debrief with @moto.logical tonight and have some improvements to focus on tomorrow. These results wouldn’t be coming without this process, no question. Ask me how it can help your program! Thank you to these amazing sponsors and supporters! @turn_3_racing @counterbalance_k9_services @moto.logical @woodcrafttechnologies #woodcrafttechnologies #armourbodies @hindleexhaust @tekmotoperformance Chico, CA @mikecanfield MC Tech @pcpmotorsports @rydergear @_keyesracing_ @racersedgeperformance @ridedunlop @vnmsport @gravesport @racetechtitanium @rynopower @asvinventions @officialvortexek @rabaconda @motionpro @araiamericas @funtrackdayz_woohoo @volantvivere
