Amazing test day @buttonwillowraceway with @canyonrunsundays — just grateful to be back out there doing what we love. Returned after a few adjustments on the stock 2025 GR Corolla (auto). @808spec Hybrid Coilovers. Still on stock geometry and ride height, but updated Swift springs to better handle the bumps and “burps” this track throws at you. The car felt smoother and more composed throughout the day. Tried a bit more rear camber (with the help of Cusco arm) and slight rear toe-out to help stability in the high-speed sections, and switched to a 255/40/17 setup on RT660s (2022) instead of 18s. Also gave the 17x10.5 forged wheels a proper stress test… for those who saw my story, you already know 😅. We were also battling tire pressures all day — super cold in the morning, then it warmed up quickly, so hot pressures were all over the place. Took a few sessions to dial it in, but we eventually found a nice sweet spot even on the stretched setup. More than anything, it was good seeing familiar faces like @relentlessracing , meeting new friends, and just enjoying the track community again. Big thanks to @dat_1slowdos — we started this journey around the same time, and it’s been awesome watching him grow as a driver. My role now is just to keep learning, listening, and dialing the car in so he can keep pushing it further. We were aiming for a sub-2:00 but just missed it. Corner speed felt strong, but we’re still working on finding more top-end speed — the auto transmission is a bit slow on shifts, so there’s definitely room to improve. All in all, a solid day of learning and progress. Not done yet. More DIY videos will be coming soon - it’s been back-to-back race weeks getting the cars prepped, and now time to fix a few things up

Incredible time at Buttonwillow CW13 hosted by @slipangletrackevents 👊 @808spec GR Corolla laid down a new PB — 2:01 with @dat_1slowdos behind the wheel. 245/40/18 Kumho V730 (6 track days deep) gave it everything before finally saying “no more.” Just shy of that sub-2 on: • Stock geometry • Stock ride height • Stock alignment There’s more in it. #NightWalkerMr2 was out there just vibing. Slow? Maybe. But it absorbs the bumps and burps like a champ — such a good practice car. Back at CW13 this Saturday with minor setting updates. Great way to end the year with a track day with @canyonrunsundays at street of Willow. Amazing photos from @briannalynnephotos 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Both #NightWalkerMr2 and #808GrC did good. Unfortunately #NightWalkerMr2 had a little oil leak which ended the day early. Thats a record for us both cars down within a week 😆😆. Grcorolla was able to achieved same pb with 255/40/18“v730 vs 265/35/18 re71rs old dot. Car ran great while managing temps and oem brake pads lasted 7k miles with 7 track days under its belt. #808Gmc TrackLanding build looking good and all the stuff I need for a tow Rig. Thank You @dat_1slowdos for being my driver , @desertmr2spyder media and pit crew, and everyone who came by hanging out in the paddock. 12-19-25 @canyonrunsundays hosted an AWESOME track day at @willow_springs_raceway on Streets of Willow. Thanks guys!! @bobmr2 didn’t let White Walker’s rod knock stop him from testing @808spec suspension. He transfered over everything to Night Walker within the week and let @dat_1slowdos try to blow another engine. The GR Corolla put in some work too, and made it back without issues. That’s probably it for the track until next year. The next one on the calendar is February, leaving less than 2 months for an engine swap. 10/04/25 @buttonwillowraceway CW13 #808GRCorolla & #WhiteWalkerMr2 Amazing track weekend with @555engineering — thanks @ongridtrack for hosting! 🙌 Saw some seriously cool builds out there, especially from the GR Corolla fam — awesome meeting so many passionate owners. We were out doing baseline testing for the @808spec hybrid setup on the #808GrCorolla. First time at BRP CW13, and the little automatic GR surprised us — snagged 2nd place in the Enthusiast group! 🥈 Oil temps hit 270°F both days (CW13 + Circuit), so next up: developing a proper cooler setup for the auto GRC… probably stealing ideas from the SW20. 😅 Meanwhile, #WhiteWalkerMR2 got a few shakedown laps with minor sway bar and setup changes — big thanks to @_gx89_ and @jdm_fd for the input! I got in a few warmup laps before handing it to driver Leo for his hot runs. • #808GRCorolla baseline: 2:03 • #WhiteWalkerMR2: 1:57 🔥 (4 seconds faster than Leo’s old 2:01!)
