Besides donating much-needed funds to @seashepherd , our collaboration helmets also feature a ‘ghost net’ loop, made from discarded fishing nets painstakingly found and removed from our oceans.

“I wanted the Dashel helmet to be an object of design that I’d enjoy living with, not just something worn on a bike and hidden away.
The rounded, minimal form is aesthetic, but it’s also good design. It helps reduce rotational injuries.
Once the original shape had been prototyped and safety tested, I handed it to MAP, the industrial design team at Barber Osgerby. They introduced the distinctive venting and rear carrying loop, a subtle nod to the vintage British Vespa helmet brands like Everoak that inspired the Dashel look. A detail that’s unique, but also useful for clipping on your lights.”
