If you are new here, welcome to Temple Cycles – and if you are a regular, welcome back. We have put this together to tell our story: to introduce who we are, what we do and why we do it. Take a look.
CALLING WEST LONDON 📢
We are thrilled to announce Temple Cycles will be taking residence at Mason & Fifth, Westbourne Park, from 15th to 25th May. Our retail pop up will run between the hours of 10am–6pm, so if you’re in the neighbourhood you can browse Temple bicycles, plus a collection of refined cycling accessories and thoughtfully chosen outdoor pieces, each designed to complement a slower, more intentional way of moving through the world.
We will also be hosting some unmissable social ride outs and an intimate folk gig:
GENTLE GRAVEL RIDE OUT – SUNDAY 17TH MAY
Join us for a relaxed gravel spin through some of South West London’s most scenic routes, including Richmond Park, the River Thames, and Kew Gardens. We will cover 40 miles with stops, at a gentle tempo. Your own gravel bike, as well as a helmet, required.
LOUIS O’HARA GIG – WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY
Join us for an intimate acoustic folk session as we travel from the bustle of West London to the wild rolling fields of West Wales and hear stories from a quieter way of being. Louis O’Hara is a singer-songwriter from Pembroke Dock, West Wales, whose music finds beauty in the soft details of everyday life. Free to attend.
CITY RIDE OUT – SATURDAY 23RD MAY
This social ride is all about slowing things down and enjoying the journey. We will follow scenic canal paths before rolling into the open greenery of Regent’s Park, with a pause in Primrose Hill. For those without their own bike, you’ll have the chance to borrow one of Mason & Fifth’s Step Through Lightweight bikes from their in-house fleet – the perfect city cruisers.

The Classic Lightweight, made personal.
With the addition of @mkspedal Bear Traps in orange, @wildernesstrailbikes ThickSlick 28mm tyres, Temple’s stainless steel bottle cage, the @sunrace.bikeparts 9-speed thumb shifter and a Pletscher kickstand, this city commuter became a unique piece – an extension of its owner’s personality.
In both Bristol and London, our doors are open for you to come and discuss your own dream build.
Our new Bristol store at 167 Whiteladies Road is not just a retail space. It’s where you can see our bikes being hand-assembled in our workshop, speak directly with our team, and understand the materials, components, and design decisions behind each model.
A bike isn’t an impulse purchase. It’s something you should live with and enjoy for decades. Being able to sit down, talk it through, understand how it’s made, feel connected to the process… that really matters.
We are also working on growing our calendar of events this Spring and Summer, from group rides to multi-day cycling events, talks to practical workshops.
Keep your eyes peeled – and drop by if you’re in the area.
Miles of wonderful countryside trails on my @templecycles bike recently - watching nature slowly reawaken and return to life 🌳🌿🌱🚴
One of my favourite things about cycling in the Peak District is the endless gravel trails we have easily available and accessible for walkers, riders and bikers alike 🐎🐕🚴🚶
Whether youre a seasoned rider or just looking for a relaxing pootle, everyone’s able to enjoy the trails, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and diverse countryside, cafe stops along the way and options to loop the trails up and make them into bigger rides.
I’m so excited for summer and we’re raring to get some miles in the leggies and enjoy where my Adventure Disc 3 takes me in the glorious sunshine over the next few months! 🚲☀️

Dave had fallen in love with our archive colourway Mustard Yellow, so when he got in touch about a custom paint job we decided to have one more look at our stock.
It was meant to be. We found a Classic Lightweight frameset both in his size and his dream colour, so we built it up for him with some custom touches: a Japanese hand-made Crane bell, a Temple water bottle cage, a Brooks B17 leather saddle and a Plestcher kickstand for stylish convenience.
Here he is with his new ride, pictured outside our new store.
