well that's the FIRST trackday of 26 Done ✅... Sadly it wasn't quite the dream run i was hoping for with just six sessions in because of it being so busy and only a half day.
First session noticed bad brake judder , second session tried to drive it off buy burning up pads on long early braking moments only just to make it worse so then a 30 min put stop & brake pad swap over to my ebc road pads , third session reminded me why I never recommend ebc for track use with no judder but just weak performance 😔 so out of the pit and into the fire 🔥
The fourth session finally saw the brakes starting to work as it started to rain and I'm on " semi slicks " by the time I found a little confidence I saw a noise board followed by an immediate black flag so that was that ....Fifth session was another slow session but again the noise board and black flag again ⚫ 👀🫣
So the Sixth and final session at 4.45 saw me go out all guns blazing only to see the noise board on the out lap so backed right of literally coasting around desperate not to get another black flag only to see it at 4.55 pm tracking closing at 5pm ??? wtf ?? so ........ i DROPPED the hammer and one absolutely mad fast flying zero fucks given lap only to come in and be told I was a very naughty boy... but it's was done and over by then sooooooo 🤷
but I will say Power is MEGA ✅ chassis was MEGA ✅ GEO by @naduk MEGA ✅ tyres in the end ✅🏁👌brakes shite but that last flying lap was enough to tell me what I've been told about this cars caperbilitys at Goodwood are all true even if I can't achieve them it's a very well balanced flying machine that sounds absolutely insane and I have it on good authority the crowd were loving the noise .... just not the noise police sadly🚨😞
I do find it absolutely MADNESS that a road legal mot compliant car can be as loud as it likes on UK roads but yet taken to the race circuit " where it should be" thrashed its restricted by noise limits ? even though most are also run ways 😂 ... buy hey it's that just BATSHIT BONKERS BRITIAN 26 🇬🇧 isn't it ?
so in frustration on the way home I got lost and didn't know which way I was going and slipped on some loose road gravel 👀🫢🤫😜
What a build 💪🏻 what a day 🫶 and a new PB laptime 🏁
Plus it came home in one piece... You just can't ask for any more 🙏... Loved the new @toyotires_uk 888R's absolutely amazing tyres and the new found weight just made it so playful in Goodwood's twists and kinks 🏁🏁🏁
Can't wait to get it back up to full power and get out there again 🙌 then aim for beating todays 1.35 PB

That's Two great afternoon/evenings I've had this week at @caffeineandmachine " The Hut " both times have been really busy with an awesome vibe and I noted both times were " FREE " it would seem they are no longer charging an entrance charge and I guess trusting us to contribute by spending money behind the bar. Which by the way I always do and I think is a must because we have to support these places in our community and they have to make a profit otherwise they just won't be there for us ... it's simple as that " USE IT OR LOSE IT "
So last Saturday I met some old London friends there all first timers and all absolutely loved it the afternoon saw fiat 500s to Lamborghinis and my mate 1960 Cadillac convertible on display with a constant flow of metal all afternoon " sun was out which helped" then I bought a coke a coffee and a t shirt and spent " £35 ish.
last night was there Weisach" Porsche " evening and we saw probably 30-40 Porsches and 20-30+ other cars maybe more again" sun was out which helped " but I bought dinner at £36 for me and the Mrs as our buddy Christian had already go the drinks in so again showing our support.
So guys n gals get yourself down there one day or evening, have some food " pizzas highly recommend " and get a drink or coffee" highly recommend vanilla latte " and enjoy this FREE place for the car community to enjoy 🙌
