A couple of other pics from last week.
This was my 2nd time at the ring in this particular car. This time I decided to try a “square” setup on stickier rubber with a proper alignment to suit. With the above, the KW’s were a weak point so next on the list is suspension but even so the car was transformed. Shout out to @naduk for a great setup 🔥 🔥Chris @c.p_performance for the pro tracks/ tyres @msmotorsport for the airbox/brake pads Shaun @gosling_racing for the cage work RIP mate.
Well what a Day ...a fantastic day at that @flat6show did not disappoint, still my favourite event of the season 3 years running now and this was my first on track 🏁💪🏻
Sadly DTC let go before she got her debute at the event but I had a plan .... PLAN B .....TC and with the help of @spyderperformance@naduk@design911uk and a few friends...we built a stop gap RACE CAR to see me through the 2025 season for events such as this.
Ohh boy what a little weapon we built , with it's first track attack last month at Goodwood with PCGB she went from 1.45 laps down to 1.40.8 by the end of the day on broken suspension and road wheels, well this weekend at flat6 she started with a 1.39 in the first session on cold tyres and a full tank of fuel so I can only guess she was in the 1.37s by the end of the day maybe faster who knows we wasn't setting out for times as it was her first real shake down but I got to say for the money invested and 197k miles she's now surpassed I'm shocked just how good a 2.7 boxster is ....no wonder there's a BOXSTER CUP 🏆🏁
Brilliant machine but are we really surprised when we've all been raving about just how good a road car they are for years 😎👌
Next up ...fix gears ⚙️⚙️ and let's push her 1.35s 1.36s are out there for her I think 🤔💪🏻👍🏻🙏
